No ano de 2015 comecei a ter interesse pela fotografia analógica e suas possibilidades. Durante meus primeiros contatos fui desafiado a criar um ensaio autoral que abraçasse a técnica e a expressão. Assim, nasceu Efemêra Derrocada, uma série fotográfica que se inspira em questões pessoais, performances e fetiches, desejando extrapolar limites entre corpo e imagem.

Os limites do meu próprio corpo e da minha imagem são explorados, revelando as cicatrizes que compõe a existência humana e sua visibilidade. Para tanto, o trabalho produzido possui uma carga confessional em uma espécie de expurgo ao revelar a impossibilidade deste domínio: fixar um ser em porvir em suas amarras imagéticas.

 

As fotografias deste ensaio exploram, assim, uma dualidade entre o corpo e seu espaço visual, na construção de uma narrativa fragmentar, que provoque sensações de tensão em uma espécie de poesia-imagética de um eu dilacerado.

In the year 2015 I became interested in analog photography and its possibilities. During my first contact I was challenged to create an authoral essay that embraced the photograph technique and self-expression. That's how Ephemeral Downfall was born. It's a series of photographs inspired by personal questions, performances and fetishes, that try to push the limits between the body and image.

The boundaries of my body and my image are being explored, revealing the scars that make the human existence and its visibility. To this effect, the work produced is confessional in a kind of expurgation as it reveals the impossibility of this domain: to fix a being in the making in its imaginary bonds.

The photos in this essay explore a duality between a body and the visual space, in the construction of a fragmented narrative, causing sensations of tension in a type of imagetic-poetry of a torn self.
